Pitreavie are Scottish-based packaging experts. Sorbafreeze are their chilled packaging division. The Pitreavie Group offer one of the most comprehensive specialist packaging solutions in the UK.

Pitreavie and Sorbafreeze pride themselves on delivering stellar customer service, however, they needed an internal process that allowed the marketing, sales and customer service teams to better work together. They opted to use HubSpot to create a single source of truth across both businesses, and they chose Catalyst to ensure they made the most of their new CRM.

We initially worked with Sorbafreeze, but were introduced to Pitreavie following a successful onboarding.

Sorbafreeze and Pitreavie had a variety of complex requirements, and HubSpot had the answers they sought. They needed to:

  1. Centralise all data from a variety of platforms.
  2. Create a seamless transition of leads from the marketing funnel to the sales pipeline. 
  3. Enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tools to achieve better returns. 
  4. Discover new prospects and areas for marketing and sales outreach. 
  5. Efficiently track and manage the progression of leads through the sales process.
  6. Develop a comprehensive and user-friendly dashboard for real-time monitoring and reporting.
  7. Implement an easy-to-use CRM system tailored to the company’s specific needs.
  8. Seamlessly integrate and migrate data from various technologies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Our Solution

With this many objectives, it was important that our HubSpot experts took the time to understand the client’s needs. We took the time to meet with the team and identify exactly what they required. From there, we put together an action plan of training, background work and more, ensuring that both Sorbafreeze and Pitreavie got everything they needed out of HubSpot. This included:

  1. Using HubSpot as a primary platform to consolidate data from Capsule, WooCommerce and Mailchimp. This was done to ensure that all team members have access to the same, up-to-date information, reducing data silos and inconsistencies.
  2. Implementing automated workflows in HubSpot that notify sales teams as soon as a lead reaches a certain qualification stage. Our experts set up lead scoring to prioritise leads based on their engagement and potential value.
  3. Upskilling the team to better analyse data from integrated tools. This allowed them to understand customer behaviour and preferences. These insights are now being used to tailor marketing campaigns, focusing on high-converting strategies and channels.
  4. Leveraging data from WooCommerce and website analytics to identify patterns in customer behaviour, such as frequent visits without purchase or specific product interests, allowing the sales team to target potential leads.
  5. Customising the CRM in HubSpot to reflect the unique stages of the company’s sales process. We trained sales teams on tracking and nurturing leads at each stage, using HubSpotʼs tools to monitor progress and performance.
  6. Building custom dashboards in HubSpot that display key metrics such as lead conversion rates, campaign performance, sales activities, and customer engagement. We ensured these dashboards are accessible to relevant team members for informed decision-making.
  7. Aligning HubSpot’s CRM to align with the companyʼs sales and marketing processes. We simplified the user interface to ensure ease of use and trained staff on effective CRM utilisation.
  8. Ensuring key integrations functioned and delivered results:
    • WordPress plugin – Ensuring that all website leads and customer interactions were captured in HubSpot.
    • WooCommerce – Linked to Hubspot to track customer purchases, cart abandonment and browsing behaviour.
    • Capsule – Importing existing customer data into HubSpot, ensuring no valuable information is lost.
    • Mailchimp – Synchronising segmented email lists with HubSpot for cohesive marketing campaigns.

We focused on training and building user-friendly interfaces (including a brand-new sales pipeline), the team focused on leveraging the tools at their disposal to improve performance and growth potential.
